Around 2 am Sunday, Lexington police responded to a shooting at Canter Pointe Apartments on Tates Creek Road.
Investigators said when they responded they found someone who had been shot.
Police said the person has life threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.
The victim's identity has not yet been released. No suspect information is available.
