MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — On October 1, Chris and Heather Elam were shopping with their kids when someone unexpectedly sent them a video on Facebook. When they pressed play, they saw their two-year-old son, Silas, with a daycare employee at Harvest Academy in Richmond.

Their family has been going there for two years now, but since the parents didn't give permission to take the video, they were distraught.

"I'm looking at this video, and it's like, I thought I was in a nightmare, I wanted to pinch myself," says father, Chris Elam.

In the video, the woman yells and cusses at their child.

Harvest Academy says the employee has been fired, and they have a policy where they don't allow cellphones in the classroom.

The parents of the kids say they will have a hard time trusting daycares again.

"I don't know how I could trust another daycare facility again," says the mother, Heather Elam.

Now the family says they don't know where they will send their kids but are looking for a new daycare.
