(LEX 18) — Police arrested a man who they say lead them on a multistate chase through Indiana and Kentucky.

Louisville Metro police said that around 5:30 a.m. Sunday, Indiana State Police were chasing a vehicle when it crossed into Jefferson County.

After hitting and injuring a trooper, the driver eventually stopped the vehicle on Can Run Road.

Police said they took two suspects into custody.

Authorities said 47-year-old James Rogers was wanted on a felony warrant out of Louisville for second-degree escape.

No charges were filed against the second suspect.

Indiana State Police have towed the vehicle and were continuing to investigate.
