LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — One person was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries after a shooting Thursday night.
According to police, a man was walking down the street near 6th and Elm Streets when he was approached by a group of juveniles. The juveniles asked the man for money and when he refused, officers say he was pushed down and shot.
He was taken to UK Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries. Authorities have not released additional suspect information.
