LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Two areas in Lexington were experiencing power outages Monday morning.

According to the Kentucky Utilities real-time map, the outages were affecting about 640 customers.

One outage area was just west of Henry Clay High School on the city's southeast side, affecting about 230 customers.

The other area was on the far south side near Nicholasville and New Circle Roads, affecting about 410 customers.

It was not clear if the heavy winds in the region were the cause of the outages.
