(LEX 18) — The coronavirus pandemic has created a significant threat to the U.S. restaurant industry by forcing dine-in eateries to close in several states, including Kentucky.
Because of this, popular restaurants are teaming up to support a national online movement called "The Great American Takeout."
The movement is encouraging locals to get one delivery or take out meal today, and post a photo on social media to help struggling eateries.
Several restaurants in our area are encouraging people to participate, including Raisin' Canes, Texas Roadhouse, Chilis, and Buffalo Wings and Rings.
