FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — On Saturday, Governor Andy Beshear announced a new record number of COVID-19 cases set for one day.
He reports 3,303 new COVID-19 cases. The positivity rate is now up to 8.95%
11 more Kentuckians have died after contracting COVID-19. The death toll stands at 1,658 since the pandemic began in March.
The number of patients in Kentucky hospitals due to COVID-19 is 1,378. 308 of those are currently in the ICU. 167 patients are on a ventilator.
