FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — On Saturday, Governor Andy Beshear reported another 4,240 COVID-19 cases in Kentucky.
That means the state's total has crossed the 300,000 mark. There have been 300,398 cases since early March 2020.
20 more Kentuckians have died after contracting COVID-19, raising the state's death toll in the pandemic to 2,876.
The state's positivity rate continues to rise and is now 12.32%.
There are currently 1,752 COVID-positive patients being treated at Kentucky hospitals. 384 of those patients are in the ICU and 201 are using a ventilator.
