FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — The positivity rate of COVID-19 in Kentucky is now 10.56% according to Governor Beshear's office.
Just over a week ago, the rate was more than 12%.
In Saturday's report, the governor's office did report 3,795 new cases of COVID-19.
There were also 49 more deaths reported. 3,386 Kentuckians have now died after contracting COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
1,604 Kentuckians who are COVID-positive are currently hospitalized. 403 of those patients are in the ICU and 209 are using a ventilator.
