LOUISVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) — The search continues for a Louisville mother who went missing last month.

According to WAVE, Andrea Knabel, a single mother of two boys, was last seen Aug. 13.

Her family isn't giving up on finding her. On Wednesday, they gathered with friends at the Speedway on Third Street Road to search for her.

Knabel, 37, last was seen around 1 a.m. walking near her home in the Audubon Park neighborhood. She apparently was leaving a relative’s house.

"It's the most important thing to me right now,” said Knabel’s sister Erin. “I feel like I'm remembering every detail just to see if there's anything that I can add to it. She was really important to me, and I know she'd do anything to help me and I want to do that back for her."

Recent tips came in suggesting Knabel may have been spotted in the Iroquois Park area, giving some new hope to the search. Anyone with information is asked to call the Louisville Metro Police Department’s anonymous tip line at 574-LMPD.
