LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police say a standoff with a man in the Halifax Drive area Thursday night ended peacefully.
Officers tell LEX 18 that some of the surrounding homes were evacuated.
Officers say that they got the call around 7:40 p.m.
A woman said her husband was not acting normal and the home had weapons in it. The woman and her children were able to get out of the home safely.
The man came out of the home around 11 p.m. Officials said he was taken to a hospital to be evaluated.
