STANFORD, Ky. (LEX 18) — Scottie Ernst, the mayor of Stanford, died on Tuesday after a mowing accident.
According to the Lincoln County Sheriff, Ernst was mowing city property when the accident happened.
State police are investigating.
Ernst was elected as the mayor of Stanford in 2018.
