GEORGETOWN, Ky. (LEX 18) — For the next ten years, students from Franklin County will receive free tuition at Georgetown College.
The announcement is part of the school's "Legacy and Legends Scholarship." Students from Scott, Franklin, Casey, and Owen Counties will all receive free tuition at the school as long as they are granted admission. Students must also live on campus and remain in good academic standing.
Students will only pay room and board at the campus, but they may apply for financial aid for any costs over the scholarship cost.
