(LEX 18) — According to research, Kentuckians seem to be the biggest fans of fruitcake. That's a sentence I never thought I would write.
For National Fruitcake Day, Seriously Smokedput together a geographic survey using social media to track which states had positive affirmations for the controversial Christmas confection.
Fruitcake seems to be the most popular in the Midwest and Northeast, and the least popular in the southern states around Texas.
The top 10 fruitcake loving states are as follows:
