UPDATE: Shortly after 5:30 p.m., an EKU emergency alert gave an "all clear" and said the incident at Model has passed. Normal activities can be resumed.
ORIGINAL STORY:
Emergency officials are investigating a "suspicious item" that was located at Model Laboratory School on Eastern Kentucky University's campus.
According to an EKU emergency alert, the item was found after dismissal and everyone was evacuated from Model.
