LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A driver was killed early Friday morning when a sport-utility vehicle slammed into a guardrail on Lexington's west side.
Authorities said the crash happened about 3:20 a.m. on the inner loop of New Circle Road near Versailles Road.
Police said the driver slammed into a guardrail and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was not wearing a seat belt, officials said.
Traffic in the area was affect for hours.
