LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Even though Transylvania University's annual PumpkinMania celebration was virtual this year due to COVID-19, members of the Transy community still lit up the steps of Old Morrison Friday.
400 lumunaria was set out on the steps in place of the traditional jack-o-lanterns. Old Morrison has also been lit in orange and amber colors for Halloween.
"We're trying to find those things we can do instead and still a little bit of that holiday cheer," said Megan Moloney, Vice President for Marketing and Communications at Transylvania University. "Let the community know that we can't wait for them to come back."
