(LEX 18) — President Trump highlighted the results of a special election in Kentucky last night to replace Rocky Adkins' seat in the state house.

Trump retweeted news of Republican Richard White's victory in the 99th district, "Big story, big win- except in the fake news, which won't cover it!"

During the election there was a Republican flip in Adkins' seat. Adkins left his office after he was named senior adviser to Gov. Andy Beshear.

Meanwhile Democrat Rachel Roberts won the 67th House Seat in northern Kentucky, who replaced Dennis Keene, after he was appointed the governor's Commissioner of the Department of Local Government.
