MERCER COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Two people are dead following a single-car crash in Mercer County.
The sheriff's office says the crash happened around the intersection of Mackville Road and Old Lewis Road.
Deputies say it appears the driver lost control of the car, and collided with a tree and a guardrail.
When first responders arrived, police say they found two adults dead inside the car.
Rescuers were able to crawl into the vehicle to pull out a child, who was then taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries.
No names have been released.
