LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — UK Healthcare is implementing temporary visitation restrictions to help protect patients from getting the flu.
The measures included allowing only two visitors in a room at a time and banning visitors who exhibit flu-like symptoms.
The restrictions will affect all UK Healthcare locations, including Chandler Hospital and Children's Hospital.
UK Healthcare plans to offer an update on the restrictions on Thursday morning.
