SOMERSET, Ky. (LEX 18) — Court documents shine light into the investigation regarding two Pulaski County constables involved in a federal investigation that resulted in two chaotic scenes Friday morning.

A federal indictment alleges that constables Michael Wallace and Gary Baldock "knowingly and willfully conspired together to injure, oppress, threaten and intimidate persons" by conducting unreasonable searches and seizures.

The alleged violation of the U.S. constitution's 4th amendment carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and fine of no more than $250,000. Federal agents were sent to arrest Wallace and Baldock early Friday. Wallace was taken into custody.

Another constable, identified by neighbors as Gary Baldock, was shot during his arrest. A federal agent was also injured.

The indictment was sealed until Friday morning. A spokeswoman for the FBI said more information will be released when after investigation at the scene is completed.
