LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — An exterior wall collapse at the J.M. Smucker Company plant in Lexington has shut down a portion of Winchester Road.
There is no debris in the street, but the road is currently shut down to inbound traffic at Delaware Avenue.
Inbound traffic is being diverted into the turn lane on Winchester Road. Two lanes are still blocked but traffic is back open.
The collapse happened shortly after 11 a.m. Structural engineers at the scene said more of the wall will have to come down for it to be fully repaired.
