(LEX 18) — A couple in Winchester has found a creative way to take their message of support for veterans on the road.

Donald and Tiffany Holder bought a 1929 Chevy Woody hearse at the beginning of the year. They had it painted to honor veterans as a mobile tribute to those who've fought for our country.

They say the woman who painted the mural used old pictures the couple had of their family.

"There's twelve people on the hearse that are actually family and friends of me and my wife that served in the military, so that makes it a lot more meaningful to us," said Donald Holder.

The hearse is hand-built out of white oak. Holder said he came across it when he was scrolling for classic cars on the internet.
