RUSSELL SPRINGS, Ky. (LEX 18) — A 56-year-old Kentucky woman was killed Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash in Russell Springs.
Police said Garnetta Campbell, of Windsor, was the passenger in a vehicle when it made a left turn onto U.S. 127 from West Drive into the path of an SUV at 3:21 p.m.
Campbell was transported to Russell County Hospital where she was pronounced dead by the Russell County coroner.
The driver and another passenger were also transported to Russell County Hospital with unspecified injuries, then airlifted to UK Hospital.
The driver of the SUV was uninjured.
The crash remains under investigation.
