WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. (LEX18) — Woodford County High School battled metal to metal with its annual Robotics Competition on Saturday afternoon.
Blood, sweat, and sparks were shed in the Bluegrass on Saturday as the Robot Gladiator League battled it out at Old Woodford County High School.
The league is a robotic combat sport that pits 24 teams in Kentucky against each other. STEM students learn to build, operate, and fight with robots.
The next match is set for Saturday, Nov. 15.
