LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police arrested a woman who they accused of agreeing to bring drugs into a state prison in exchange for cash.

According to her arrest citation, an inmate at Blackburn Correctional Complex told Stephanie Clark that he would give her $500 if she brought him drugs.

Officials said Clark worked at the facility as a contract canteen employee.

Police said she agreed to the deal. However, after picking up the drugs Clark allegedly got cold feet on Tuesday, according to the citation, and decided against completing the deal.

Nonetheless, police allegedly found the drugs in Clark's vehicle.

She faces multiple charges.
