ORLANDO, Fla. (AP/LEX 18) — The multi-state lottery jackpots keep growing, with Powerball’s jumping several million after no one matched all the numbers in Saturday night’s drawing.

The winning numbers were: 01-22-27-53-67, Powerball: 15, Power Play: 3.

The jackpot was pegged at $253 million ahead of the drawing and now stands at $282 million with a cash option of $161 million.

While that’s a huge payout, it pales in comparison to the Mega Millions jackpot.

That lottery’s jackpot currently stands at $470 million with a cash option of $265 million.

The next Mega Millions drawing is Tuesday night, with Powerball’s next drawing on Wednesday evening.

The chance of winning the Mega Millions jackpot is 1 in about 303 million. The chase of winning the Powerbal jackpot is 1 in about 292 million.

And while no one cashed in on Friday’s big Mega Millions lottery jackpot, one person who bought a ticket in Elizabethtown came so very, very close.

The consolation prize on missing Friday’s $420 million payout: a cool $1 million.

Kentucky lottery officials say a ticket that matched all five white balls, but not the red Mega ball, was purchased in Elizabethtown.

The winner and winning sale site was not immediately disclosed.

“Security staff from the lottery will execute a series of security checks at the retailer on Monday, and at that point the name of the store where the ticket was sold will be disclosed,” according to Kentucky lottery officials.
