FLORENCE, Ind. (LEX 18)– A man is dead after getting hit by a car driven by a Northern Kentucky man in Indiana.
It happened just after 11 p.m. New Year’s Eve outside the Belterra Casino.
Investigators say Robert Loughry was one of four people trying to cross a state road to an overflow parking lot.
They say that while walking across, Loughry was hit by the vehicle and died at the scene.
We’re told toxicology reports are pending for both Loughry and the driver.
