DEARBORN COUNTY, Ind. (WLWT)– A woman faces multiple charges after leading police on a multi-state chase, ending in Dearborn County, Indiana on Wednesday.
According to WLWT, the incident started when officers were called for a woman who stopped taking her psychiatric medicine and was reportedly acting unusual.
Officers say they were told on scene that 20-year-old Mary Taylor had been taken to the hospital earlier in the day, but was not admitted.
Later, Taylor called police saying she was at a nearby Walmart. Officers picked her up and took her to the police station in an attempt to get her help.
While there, officers say Taylor walked out and stole the officer’s police cruiser.
She led them on a chase, leading into both Kentucky and Ohio.
They eventually were able to deflate the tires, and stop Taylor in Indiana.
