BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. (WFTX) — The FBI arrested two suspects for their alleged involvement in the sex trafficking of minors.
Authorities say Kiara Nunez, 21, in Hollywood, and Alexandra Ramirez, 19, in Coral Springs were arrested by the Broward County Human Trafficking Task Force without incident.
According to the report, they are in federal custody and facing federal charges.
They are expected to make their first appearance in court Monday in a Fort Lauderdale federal court.
The FBI says the investigation is ongoing, and no further information is being released at this time.
