Researchers have developed an interactive COVID-19 risk assessment map ahead of the holidays.
It shows the risk level of going to a gathering or event, given the number of people in attendance and the location.
According to the researchers, "you can reduce the risk that one case becomes many by wearing a mask, distancing, and gathering outdoors in smaller groups".
The map was a collaborative project led by Professor Joshua Weitz and Professor Clio Andris at Georgia Tech, alongside researchers at the Applied Bioinformatics Laboratory at Stanford University.
