WASHINGTON, D.C. (NBC) — A lockdown at the White House was quickly lifted after an airspace violation in Washington D.C.
Authorities did not elaborate on what type of craft violated the highly protected airspace.
According to NBC News, fighter jets were scrambled. The press corps was kept inside the briefing room for their protection.
