(LEX 18) — As people in Florida and the southeast coast brace for Dorian, locals in Kentucky are heading to help with the aftermath.
According to Jackson Energy's Facebook page, a line crew left Tuesday morning for southern Georgia.
They said that the crew consists of 10 linemen and a mechanic, who will travel all day on Tuesday with six trucks.
The crew will provide mutual aid and assistance to other power companies who could be impacted by the hurricane.
