HAZARD, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Hazard Fire Department reports that they, along with several other crews, responded to a fire at a home near Richard Everage Auto Sales just after 5:00 a.m.
Upon arrival, officials say they began searching the home for occupants, but no one was found inside.
According to officials, crews began extinguishing the fire and brought it under control by 6:00 a.m.
Officials say some of the home has been salvaged, as well as some of the homeowners' belongings.
