LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX NEWS) — The Lexington Police Department reports that two people were injured in an overnight shooting at a motel on Newtown Court. Police say they only learned of the incident after the victims arrived at a local hospital.
Lexington police reported that two people have been charged in connection to the shooting: 23-year-old Jean Ulysse has been charged with two counts of first-degree assault and 20-year-old Jaleisha Brown has been charged with third-degree terroristic threatening.
According to police, the victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
