LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington police were investigating after a shooting late Sunday night sent three men to the hospital.

Police responded to reports of shots fired on the 1800 block of Linton Road around 11:30 p.m. They found the three men with gunshot wounds outside of a home.

All of them have non-life-threatening injuries and are expected to recover.

Police also found multiple shell casings at the scene.

A neighbor describes what she heard.

"I heard a pop, pop and I thought oh, and as soon as I heard the second shot, you just heard multiple shots to where it was, I couldn't even tell you how many there were,” she said. “There were so many and it sounded so close that I hit the floor. I got off my couch and hit the floor."

Lexington police said they were looking for two men believed to be connected to the shooting.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to give police a call.
