Authorities in Kentucky arrest two inmates, accused of escaping Tennessee jail and stealing a van

ALLEN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police say they have arrested two inmates who allegedly escaped from a Tennessee jail and stole a car.

Police say 25-year-old Jeremy Fuller and 22-year-old Joseph Whittemore both escaped from the Macon County, TN jail in Lafayette on Sunday night. The inmates allegedly stole a van that was located in Allen County, Kentucky.

Fuller and Whittemore were both arrested on active escape warrants from Tennessee and also charged with Burglary 2nd degree. They are both lodged in the Allen County Jail.
