LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A woman was killed and three people were injured in a domestic violence incident Thursday morning.
Police say shortly after 9:00 a.m. Thursday, Lexington Police were dispatched to a home on Furlong View Court. A woman, identified by the Fayette County Coroner's Office as 31-year-old Kenya Higgins, was dead at the scene. A man and two juveniles were taken to a local hospital for their injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed at this time.
