The Fayette County Coroner has identified the woman found stabbed to death in a home on Larkin Road that resulted in the arrest of 43-year-old Roberto Buffill Parades.

The coroner report identified the victim as 29-year-old Anisleys Font Lantaron. Her cause of death is stab wounds and her manner of death is listed as homicide.

LEX 18 spoke with Aniselys’ sister, Zaendrys Tehuma, via video call Friday afternoon. She lives in Cuba, and doesn’t speak English; LEX 18’s Lazaro Acevedo served as a translator.

"She said that they were like confidants, like best friends, and then she moved and it's tough to keep in contact once you move countries," Acevedo explained.

Lantaron leaves behind a two-year-old daughter.

“One day she's going to ask you know where her mom is and (Tehuma) doesn't even know what she can say, let alone what's going to happen to that girl right now, nobody knows," Acevedo said.

The arrest citation says the says the baby’s father is the one charged with Tehuma's murder. The family now wonders: how are they going to get their loved one’s body back to Cuba?

"It was very important for her to get help finding out what they were going to do with the remains, because she wanted to pay respects so badly,” Acevedo said.
