LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Lexington woman has been charged with murder in the death of her infant child.
Sammantha Moore, 32, was arrested by Lexington Police Wednesday afternoon.
Officers responded at about 10:40 a.m. Wednesday to an apartment on Centre Parkway where they found 9-month-old son, Ocean, dead inside the home.
Police said the investigation found that Moore intentionally caused the death of her son by use of physical force.
She is lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.
