Man charged in shooting that injured 2 outside Lexington bar

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police in Lexington have arrested a man who is accused of injuring two people in a shooting outside a bar on the city's west side.

Authorities said Joshua Hines is accused of shooting a gun about 2 a.m. Sept. 14, outside the El Patron Restaurant and Bar, at 1765 Alexandria Drive.

According to his arrest citation, Hines allegedly got into an argument with another man when he pulled out a gun and fired several shots toward the establishment's front door.

Two people were struck, one in the leg and the other a graze wound to the abdomen.

Police arrested Hines on Wednesday night.

He faces several charges, including assault and wanton endangerment.

Hines was being held in the Fayette County Detention Center.
