LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington police were called to a shooting scene around 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon on Freeman Drive.
While en route they received information that a person suffering a gunshot wound left the area and went for help at Mary Todd elementary.
The person never went inside the school and was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made at this time.
