CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police in Clay County have arrested a suspect after a deadly shooting Sunday evening.
According to the Machester Enterprise, the shooting took place on Rice's Fork of U.S. Highway 421 at Elk Creek.
Clay County Sheriff's deputies told the newspaper that one person was killed.
Police said a suspect was arrested after an investigation.
Officals with Clay County Detention Center confirmed to LEX 18 that Ricky Wagers was charged in the case and being held at the jail.
