LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A federal judge in Lexington has sentenced a Detroit man to life in prison for charges stemming from a drug overdose death.
Shannon Hixon, 43, was previously found guilty of conspiracy to distribute oxycodone and fentanyl and distribution of fentanyl resulting in death.
The jury found that Hixon supplied two people in Lexington with thousands of oxycodone pills, which were then sold to local dealers in Morehead and Salyersville.
