LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Lexington man picked the wrong time to crash his car when he crashed it while talking to a police officer.
An officer stopped to talk to 70-year-old Warren Heaton in a car wash parking lot on Lisle Industrial Avenue on Friday afternoon.
The man's car was in drive and while he was talking to the officer, he reportedly became confused and crashed into the officer's car.
Police said they found a bottle of vodka that was only a quarter of the way full in the man's car.
Heaton reportedly blew a .311 on a breathalyzer, which is nearly four times the legal limit.
He was arrested and charged with a DUI.
