LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — An early morning crash in Lexington has sent a woman to UK Hospital.
The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday on Old Frankfort Pike near Elkchester Road.
LEX 18 was told that a car traveling outbound ran off the road, hit a tree on the driver's side and then hit a fence.
Police said that the woman was taken to UK Hospital with injuries that are not considered life threatening, but are also not minor.
As the investigation continues, officials said that alcohol might have played a factor in the crash.
