LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — It can be hard to keep track of every piece of information during an election, but with so many changes, that's especially true this year. For anyone in Fayette County who still hasn't voted, the League of Women Voters of Lexington has provided an online voter guide for the city at VOTE411.org.

The League made sure voters could get the election information they needed on the site by providing things like polling locations, a voter guide and candidate breakdowns from the presidential race all the way down to city council.

“It gives you personalized information. So, you put in your street address and it gives you exactly the races for the place where you live. So, you're not going to see all the extraneous data from other races that are in Lexington that don't affect your location,” said League co-president Jennifer Jackson.

There are also links to candidate forums and debates the League has held. Jackson says they wanted to make it as convenient as possible for all voters, especially younger new voters.

“There's also this great functionality where you can make sort of a short list of who you want to vote for,” said Jackson. “So, after you're looking through the candidates, you're like, 'Oh, I really like what this person had to say. I'm going to check them.' So then, when you actually go to the polls, it makes it really easy.”

The League also partnered with the LexVote Coalition to create Lex.Vote, another online guide where you can submit questions for Urban County Council candidates. Jackson says the League plans to continue updating the sites with more information as we get closer to Election Day.
