Thousands of voters still expected in Madison County

MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Election Day began with 35,000 votes already returned in Madison County, but the Kentucky Secretary of State's Office said thousands more could come in throughout the day.

Madison County added five polling locations for Election Day to include the following:

  • Eastside Community Church (Richmond)
  • Big Hill Christian Church (Richmond)
  • White Hall Baptist Church (Richmond)
  • Berea Folk Center (Berea)
  • Berea Church of God (Berea)
  • Ashland Church (Richmond)
  • First Baptist Church (Richmond)

If voters are in line at 6 p.m. Tuesday, they should be allowed to cast their ballot.

Absentee ballots can still be dropped off in Madison County until 6 p.m. Tuesday at two drop box locations:

  • Old White Courthouse (Richmond)
  • Old Post Office (Berea)
