Emergency training exercise to take place in Lincoln County

LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — On Thursday morning, Lincoln County Emergency Management will be conducting a mass casualty readiness training exercise.

The training exercise will take place at Veterans Park from 8 a.m. until noon.

According to a Facebook post made by Lincoln County EMA, the training exercise will be busy and loud.

There will be fire trucks, police cars, ambulances and possibly aircraft.

Lincoln County EMA has advised the public to avoid the area and do not be alarmed, since it is only a training exercise.
