MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — An emotional 911 call captured the chaotic moments after this weekend's strong storms flipped a mobile home in Madison County.
Dispatcher: 9-1-1 where is your emergency?
Caller: Mamaw I'm in the brick!
Dispatcher: You’re what honey?
Caller: I need help, I need help immediately. Our trailer just blew over.
Last weekend three people were trapped inside their mobile home when storms with hurricane strength winds came barreling through, flipping the trailer over. A man who had been inside the home made the phone call to EMS on Saturday afternoon.
Dispatcher: Is anybody hurt?
Caller: I don’t know I hear them screaming. Please help, please!
Dispatcher: Take a deep breath okay, take a deep breath.
You can hear the panic in the caller’s voice as he tried to locate his girlfriend and grandmother.
Caller: I need somebody out here to help my girlfriend she’s bleeding everywhere.
Dispatcher: Okay can you apply pressure with anything?
Caller: Yes, come here! Come here babe!
Amazingly no one was seriously hurt.
But the family still had to take in the shock of losing their home, and many of their belongings.
LEX 18 previously talked with one of the women who was in the trailer.
She said she's thankful family and friends are now helping them move forward.
